Rambling down the River Road April 7th 7-8 am

Rolled out early this morning before sunrise and took the camera to see what was happening along the River Road from Evergreen Av south to St Croix Falls.  Lots of water birds.   River is open except near the power dam in SCF.

Very little debris on the river so far. 

No water going over the dam yet.  The melt is underway upstream.   1914 marked the last log drive down the river--100 years ago.
