A Day of Melting

Robin enjoying the bittersweet

25 Trumpeter Swans on a pond just north of Cushing

Signs of activity at the Sugarbush--but too warm for sap to run

Open water at the lake outlet--no dead fish so probably no winter kill

Water is rushing towards Wolf Creek and the St Croix

The fields are full of ponds

Still corn for wildlife

The pond is starting to melt with runoff coming from Bass Lake and also headed towards Wolf Creek

The 100 year old barn is showing its age

Huge poplar tree was just a shoot when we built the playhouse in 1960
