Sap Dripping
Put out 40 buckets yesterday and plan to put out 50 today as the sap shows signs of dripping. Some holes were wet when drilled yesterday and began dripping right away and others still waiting.
The open areas are clear of snow, the ponds have an inch or two of meltwater on top of the ice, and the sound of geese and trumpeter swans is in the air!
